The annual Breakthrough Cancer Research Golf Classic at Lee Valley Golf & Country Club will take place on Friday, May 26th raising much needed funds for cancer research to help make more survivors.
This wonderful event on one of the finest golf courses in Cork is once again kindly sponsored by The River Lee Hotel and Johnson & Perrott Peugeot.
Limited tee times are available for teams of three at €300, which includes green fees, a meal in the clubhouse, a goodie bag and a chance to win some fantastic prizes including weekend breaks at the luxury Doyle Collection hotels. Tee box sponsorship opportunities are also available for €150 each.

It is only through amazing public support and events like this that Breakthrough Cancer Research is able to continue funding the most innovative cancer research throughout the entire island of Ireland. We focus our research on developing treatments for poor prognosis and incurable cancers, and as we recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the official launch of the charity are supporting 150 researchers in 13 institutions across the island of Ireland and beyond. Most recently we have just launched the first All Ireland Cancer Network (AllCaN) focused on oesophageal cancer and a €1M investment bringing together stakeholders (Researchers, clinicians, patients groups etc. ) all over the island of Ireland with the aim to significantly improve survival rates in this poor prognosis cancer. Your support will continue to fund this and other game changing cancer research programmes.
