We are delighted to announce the Breakthrough Cancer Research Ball will take place on Friday, 10th November 2023 at the exquisite Fota Island Resort.

It’s always a wonderful night, so treat yourself, your loved ones, friends, clients, or colleagues, to a fantastic evening, starting with our arrival drinks reception, gold and silver surprises, wonderful prizes and an amazing four course meal. There will be excellent entertainment and you can dance the night away to the amazing live band, Spring Break.  We also have a very special guest, Risteard Cooper!!

Breakthrough Cancer Research is one of the leading funders of poor prognosis cancers in the island of Ireland.  We focus our research on developing treatments for currently incurable cancers and in recent years we have brought eight cancer treatments from the laboratory to clinical trial. This includes the newly opened trial for patients with chemo-resistant oesophageal cancer, the ongoing trial for patients with basal cell carcinomas, and recent trials for colorectal cancer and malignant melanoma. These investigator-led trials are examples of how incredible public support can help translate ideas in the lab directly to patients in the clinic.   All the funds raised from the Ball will  help accelerate our research of these and other difficult to treat cancers such as lung, liver, stomach, brain  oesophageal ovarian and pancreatic.

The breakthroughs we’re working towards do not happen overnight but come from years of tireless hard work and collaboration. So to help fund this hard work, why not join us to dance and dine!

Tickets to this very special event are €175.00 per person and can be booked here or contact Mary@breakcancer.ie or phone  021 422 66 55.

€1750.00 per table of ten.

Special B&B rate at the 5* Fota Island Resort.

Thank you – with your help we will Make More Survivors.
